Holiday Inn, Batam @ 7:32 AM
Stayed at Holiday Inn, Batam over the weekend. Got upgraded to 2 bedroom suite instead, but there's only 2 of us. So the other room is practically wasted. But the suite is good, got living room and kitchen. Breakfast is not bad too. Service and all is fine. Worth staying. Those that went harris before, this is much better than that.. However, the spa is pretty exp.. We bought it on deal.com.. therefore its a tour package which include a day tour.. The day tour is bad.. the bus is so squeezy.. imagine 53 guests on the bus with no air con.. Apparently the air con spoiled.. And the tour bring us to places where its boring.. such as.. "polo factory outlet" which is actually just a shop. Then 933 seafood lunch, normal. After which to buy kueh lapis.. and then another shopping place at nogaya.. also boring.. lastly berjaya mall.. which is ok but then we only get to stay 45 mins.. so rush. Worse is the next day when leaving.. we were informed to gather at 1pm.. but the guide only arrive at 2pm.. imagine 53 ppl waiting at the lobby.. and practically 12pm we are there cos its the check out time.. Therefore.. in conclusion.. probably will visit holiday inn batam again but not the tour.. and fyi the tour is call "best of tour".. |
